Madison Central School District Bond Election

Madison residents can vote on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 on a funding proposal that will renovate the Madison High School facility, originally built in 1963.

If passed, the $14.5 million project would be paid for through a $6.315 million Bond Redemption Fund for no more than 20 years. This equates to a mill levy of 0.63-0.65 or $63.00-$65.00 on a $100,000 house. The other $8.3 million would come from capital outlay fund certificates for no more than 20 years.

Any eligible registered voter can vote early:

  • By mail
  • On-site requests can be made by contacting the business office at 256-7710.
  • At the business manager's office at the high school (800 NE 9th Street) Extended business hours are Tuesday - Thursday: 7:00AM to 5:30PM (beginning October 18th) Saturday, October 29th: 9:00AM to 11:00AM Saturday, November 5th: 9:00AM to 11:00AM
