DSU will host this 5th annual health career event for 57 area high schools to explore health occupations for a one-day learning experience.
This is done at 10 locations throughout the state for 9th -12th grade students. For more information visit http://healthcareers.sd.gov/ScrubsCamp_Web_V3/index.html Campers at the DSU event will hear from healthcare professionals such as Physician Assistant, Pharmacist, and Dietician. The students will also be involved with an EMT simulation truck - SD SIMS along with a tour of the Madison Community Hospital.
They will participate in exciting hands-on activities and receive personalized career guidance plans.
