"Getting a golf course and clubhouse ready to open after a winter like we've had is no small task, but we are working hard to get things in shape for our 2017 golf season," stated grounds keeper Bill Stromberg.

Members and guests of MCC have come to expect a well-kept and challenging golf course west of Madison. The diversity of the only local 18-hole layout makes it a favorite for members and a variety of tournaments. Madison Country Club has developed a reputation as one of the area's best courses. MCC is happy to host a number of tournaments for various organizations and is open to greens fee play as well. Members are, however, provided preferred access to the course on certain days and for certain events.

The Madison Golf and Country Club is located just west of Madison near Prairie Village and Lake Herman. This course is an 18-hole regulation length golf course. It features 6,162 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The Madison Country Club golf course was established in 1946.
