V.J. Smith will be the presenter at this Seminar. V.J. Smith has been a professional speaker for ten years. He honed his speaking skills through his 16 year membership in Toastmaster's International. On two occasions, Smith was one of nine finalists in that organization's "World's Championship of Public Speaking."
Smith currently serves as the Executive Director of the South Dakota State University Alumni Association. In 2003, he co-produced the book, "The College on the Hill," a unique look at the history of SDSU. Smith's book, "The Richest Man in Town," was released in May, 2005.
Prior to accepting his present position in 1996, Smith was the Assistant to the Athletic Director for the Jackrabbit (SDSU) Athletic Program. During the decade of the 1980's, Smith worked in various capacities for the Allied Signal Aerospace Company in Kansas City, MO.
