*(Update from Bud Postma 08/17/10) For the sake of food and carts, we need to have an estimate of the number of teams! If you are planning on having a team and if you need carts, I need to know that! All you need to do is send me a quick email, Bud.Postma@k12.sd.us, with the names on your team and if you need 1 or 2 carts! Or if you know you are having a team, but don’t have all the names, just let me know that you are having a team!
You can pay, etc at the course on Saturday!
You are ALL invited to participate in the 3rd Annual BULLDOG Golf Classic on Saturday, August 21, 2010. This event will be played at the Madison Country Club with all proceeds from the golf classic going to the Madison Bulldog M Club, which will directly benefit the Athletes at Madison High School! Year 1 we had 17 teams, 2nd year we had 26 teams! In 2010 we are looking for 30+ teams!!!
9:00 am - Registration, Silent Auction Items, Raffles, Giant Skins, etc.
10:00 am - Shotgun Start
3:00 pm - Social Hour, Silent Auction Items (last chance), Drawings, etc.
3:30 pm - BBQ
4:00 pm - Golf Awards – Everyone WINS!!
4:30 pm - BARE FOOT Challenge – Check it out!!!
A couple of things NEW at this year’s event:
-A John Green Original painting! It will be a ‘BULLDOG’ collage of some sort. No matter, it will be a ONE OF A KIND that will be auctioned off during the event!
-This year we will have a ‘Giant Skins’ game, as many of you know it can be a lot of fun and worth some pretty good CASH!
-At the conclusion we are going to attempt “A Barefoot Challenge”! It will be a playoff from a certain distance, low scores go back and do it again until there is ONE winner!
There will be a fee to enter, but WINNER takes ALL! MORE details on the 21st! Oh, by the way, you have to play ‘BAREFOOT’!
-And of course there will be lots of TRASH talking along with lots of friends/family around as well!
