Dakota Prairie Playhouse, 1205 N. Washington Ave.
“All aboooooooooard!”
The S.S. American will set sail on March 31 as Dakota State University presents the musical comedy “Anything Goes.”
The show offers a madcap adventure featuring showgirls, gangsters, sailors, businessmen, fast talking reporters, young lovers and more who set sail across the Atlantic.
The musical, originally performed in 1934, offers the toe-tapping melodies of Cole Porter such as “Friendship,” “I Get a Kick out of You,” and of course, “Anything Goes.”
Performances will be held March 31, April 1, and April 2 at 7:30 p.m.
DSU’s Theater for Change partner for “’Anything Goes” is the National Military Families Association (NMFA). The NMFA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support to spouses, parents, and children of military personnel in all seven uniformed services. Thirty percent of ticket sales will be donated, as well as additional donations collected in the lobby.
Bring your loose change to the show, because this spring "any donation goes" to support America’s military families.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under (contains some mild language). Seating is limited so reserve your tickets now at 605- 256 - 5666.
