For 50 years, visitors to the Smith-Zimmerman Museum in Madison, SD have had a chance to learn about many different facets of Lake County’s history. On Sunday afternoon, October 9th, visitors will have a chance to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Museum at a special program with presentations by Dick Ericsson, Delmer Dooley, and others. There will also be a video presentation of the 1961 Museum dedication that was put together by John Nelson of Madison.
The museum’s celebration begins at 2:00 Sunday and will be followed by the annual meeting of the Lake County Historical Association.
