The Madison Area Arts Council is sponsoring a presentation by Joanita Kant on the history and art of Sioux porcupine quillwork and beadwork from the time of the fur trade up to the 1940s. The event is free and open to the public. This program is made possible by the South Dakota Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
