Lake County Historical Society sponsors Dr. Loren Murfield, a native of Nunda and a graduate of Rutland High School for the first Brown Bag presentation of "Humble Homesteaders", in the Smith-Zimmmermann Museum on September 20 at noon. His book centers on the lives of his grandparents homesteading in Lake County. The public is invited to hear about this personal insight in our local history. Bring along a lunch.
