Madison's Post 25 American Legion Baseball team will be hosting the 2013 Region Tournament July 18-21.
Times vary per day of the tournament.
Championship 3PM June 21.
There will be two games on July 18-19, three games on July 20 and one game on July 21.
Teams that will be vying for the championship are Madison, Garretson, Dell Rapids, Volga and Flandreau.
Playing the first game at 5 p.m. on July 18 will be Garreston and Dell Rapids (Game 1). Following that game around 7:30 p.m. will be Volga and Flandreau (Game 2).
Playing the first game on July 19 will be the winner of Game 1 and Madison (Game 3). Around 7:30 p.m., the loser from Game 1 will tangle with the loser of Game 2 (Game 4).
On July 20, the first game will begin at 3 p.m. with the winner of Game 2 playing the winner of Game 3 (Game 5). Following that game at about 5:30 p.m., the winner of Game 4 will tangle with the loser of Game 3 (Game 6). In the nightcap at around 8 p.m., the loser of Game 5 will battle the winner of Game 6 (Game 7).
The championship game is set for 3 p.m. on July 21 with the winner of Game 5 squaring off against the winner of Game 7 (Game 8).
If the loser of Game 8 lost for the first time, a second championship game will be played at around 5:30 between the same two teams that played in Game 8.
