The SD National Guard Company B of the 153rd Engineering Battalion based out of Madison will be assisting city crews with the cleanup again this year as part of their normal guard drill weekend.
The City will be divided into four sections with Egan Avenue and N 2nd/3rd Street being the dividing streets. Collections will begin Saturday in the northwest section, Sunday will be the northeast section, Monday will be the southeast section, and Tuesday will be the southwest section.
Any items not picked up in a section on the day scheduled, will be collected the next day. We ask that you do not set anything out more than 48 hours before your scheduled pickup day.
Items we will not pick up include appliances, batteries, paint, leaves, treesbranches, hazardous materials, recyclables, household garbage or electronic devices(televisions, radios, VCR's, DVDCD players, etc). Eight tires, removed from the rims, per household max will be picked up as well.
