St. Thomas School Gym
Bicycle Safety Day will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, at the St. Thomas School gym in Madison. Youngsters, ages 4-12, are invited learn about the rules of the road and practice them on a bicycle safety course. Children should bring their bicycles for inspection. Activities include a bicycle safety video, drawings for new bicycles and helmets, and refreshments. Admission is free to this youth-safety event, sponsored by the employees of East River Electric Power Cooperative. Madison Police officers will offer free bicycle registration/licensing during the event.
