The weather is warming up and it's time to clean out what we've been storing all winter. The city of Madison's free recycling drop-off event is sure to help out Madison residents on April 9th.
Madison residents are encouraged to take their unwanted electronics to the Madison Recycling Center at 800 SW 7th St. on Saturday, April 9th between the hours of 9:00AM and 3:00PM. This event is restricted to residents only. No businesses, government entity, nonprofit or schools eligible for this free event.
Items accepted are:

Large electronics devices: desktop and laptop personal computers, monitors, mainframe computers, battery backup uninterruptible power supplies, printers, scanners, copy machines, fax machines, televisions, video cassette recorders, laser disc players, digital video disc players, and stereo receivers.

Handheld electronics devices: cell phones, pagers, personal digital assistants, handheld video games, calculators, small MP3 players, small compact disc players, small cassette players, small radios, small walkie-talkies, and digital and electronic cameras.
So clean out those garages, closets, sheds and spare bedrooms this weekend and recycle for FREE next Saturday.
