The 2012 State Farm Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Basketball Tournament features five former Dakota Athletic Conference members. The tournament begins on Friday, Feb. 24 and runs through Sunday, Feb. 26 at DSU Memorial Fieldhouse.

Men's First Round – Friday, Feb. 24
Game 1: #5 seed Mayville State (13-14 overall) vs. #4 seed Dickinson State (11-17) – 8pm
Men's Semifinals – Saturday, Feb. 25
Game 2: #3 seed Dakota State (16-12) vs. #2 seed Valley City State (20-9) – 5pm
Game 3: Game 1 winner vs. #1 seed Jamestown (24-5) – 7pm
Men's Championship – Sunday, Feb. 26
Game 4: Game 2 winner vs. Game 3 winner – 6pm

Women's Championship – Sunday, Feb. 26

The semifinal winners will move on to the championship game on Sunday with the women at 4pm and the men at 6pm. The women's semifinal winner will receive an automatic berth to the NAIA Division II Women's Basketball National Tournament in Sioux City, Iowa on March 7-13.
The men's semifinal winner will receive an automatic berth to the NAIA Division II Men's Basketball National Tournament in Point Lookout, Mo. on March 7-13.
