Barn Quilts Lecture and Painting Workshop Tuesday, July 19th.
Free Barn Quilts Lecture will begin at 9:00 AM in the meeting room at the Madison Public Library. Barn Quilt Painting Workshop beginning at 11:00 AM.
The lecture is free; however, a $40 fee is required to participate in the Barn Quilt Painting Workshop. Join the barn quilt movement by creating your own painted quilt block. You will begin with a pre-primed board and go through each step- drafting, taping, and painting. The workshop lasts about 4 hours. The finished product will be two-by-two feet and is the perfect size for mounting on smaller buildings. Seating is limited, so sign up today at The Madison Public Library. Lunch will be provided.
