Madison Lakes Cycling and sponsors are hosting the first MadTown Cross cyclocross race Sunday, October 9th 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM on the green space just south west of the Dakota Prairie Playhouse. Cyclocross is a fast paced circuit race with natural and man-made obstacles.

Severe Weather: we will be keeping our eyes on the weather. If the event needs to be canceled, we will post on Facebook and send out a mass email to those that are registered.
Pre-registration at USA Cycling (USACycling.com) is highly encouraged to guarantee t-shirt sizing and availability. T-shirts may not be available for day-of registrations. A USA Cycling license is required to participate and 1-day licenses ($10) will be available to purchase for day-of registration. Additional surcharges could apply to enter the race electronically. Check-in opens at 11:00 AM and closes 15 min prior to posted start times.
Course: Course is a 1.0-mile loop around a green space at Dakota State University near the Dakota Playhouse. It has numerous natural obstacles (trees) and some climbing will be required. Course is contained within the green space and will be closed to traffic.
*After the cyclocross race we will take down the barriers and have a 20 minute fat bike race on the same course. Fat bikes need
to have a 3.0” tire or wider to be classified as a fat bike.
Parking is available on the north side of the Playhouse and east of the Madison Community Center. Registration will be in the lobby of the Community Center.
