Madison Superintendent talks about School Funding

Madison Central School Superintendent Vince Schaefer says a poll taken last September by the Associated School Boards of South Dakota shows strong support of education in the state.
Schaefer says it shows 85% of the 610 people polled say state aid to school districts should be increased in order to continue to provide an adequate education.
Schaefer asked the question if a person would be satisfied with adequate dental care, legal representation or an adequate surgeon if you needed surgery. Schaefer continues that he's not sure that an adequate educational opportunity is truly what we are asking for. Schaefer made the comments Monday Morning on Dakota's Best AM 1390.
