Roof Work Authorized

The Madison City Commission approved a proposal from Rex Rogers for work on the roof at the Depot.

The building is owned by the City of Madison and houses the Madison Chamber of Commerce and Lake Area Improvement Corporation.

Madison City Finance Officer Jeff Heinemeyer told the Commission the proposal from Rex Rogers is the only one for the project.

Heinemeyer says there is about $14,000 in a reserve for the work.

The work is expected to cost at least $11,000.
