Governor Responds to City Letter

Madison Mayor Gene Hexom says he and the other members of the city commission are impressed with the way Governor Rounds responded to the city's letter of priorities for a possible stimulus package.

Hexom says he is impressed that the governor responded at all.

In the Governor's letter he says information on the Lewis and Clark Regional Water System was passed along to members of Congress working on the stimulus package.

The Governor also says in the letter that the Highway 34 Four-Lane project was passed along to the South Dakota Department of transportation for consideration.
