There Will Be a Madison City Election

There will be a Madison City Commission election on April 14th.
Nick Abraham has filed petitions for nomination and joins City Commissioner Karen Lembke and Mike McGowan who filed petitions earlier for the two slots up for election on the City Commission.
Madison School Board member Steven Nelson has filed a petition for nomination to one of the two 3-year terms on the school board up for election this year.
There is also a 1-year term up for election.
Residents of the City of Madison and the Madison Central School District who would run for a seat on the City Commission or the School Board have until Friday at 5 p.m. to turn in petitions for nomination.
The Madison City-School election is scheduled April 14th.
