Lake County Commission Reviews its Insurance

The Lake County Commission heard a review of its liability insurance Tuesday Morning.

Gary Drewes of Hagan Benefits, Inc., the company that administers the South Dakota Public Assurance Alliance, made a presentation to the Commission.

The Alliance provides liability insurance coverage to many public entities in South Dakota.

Drewes says the plan hasn't changed but there are four new commissioners, and he wanted to update them on the County's liability insurance coverage.

Lake County carries five million dollar liability coverage. The Commission took no action.
