Giles Will Practice Law

Chris Giles has been with Dakota State since 2005 as the Director of Development and President/CEO of the D-S-U Foundation. Earlier this week he announced he is leaving the position to return to the practice of law with Dick Ericsson of Madison.

Under Giles direction the University started its first-ever capital campaign, setting a goal of $37,000,000 dollars.

With the capital campaign just getting started, it's not a good time for him to leave the position, but he says all the organization of the campaign is up and running, so in consultation with DSU President Doug Knowlton he decided to leave the Foundation at this time.
