City Commission Meets

The Madison City Commission approved an alcohol license transfer and a video lottery application for additional machines from Cocktail Grill to Rumor's.

The Commission also approved an alcohol license transfer from Rumor's to Trojan tap.

With the changes, City Finance Officer Jeff Heinemeyer says the configuration is as it was a year ago.

The Commission set a bid date of March 25th at 1:30 p.m. for the 2009-2 sidewalk improvement project.

The Commission decided to authorize a request to the state Department of Transportion to place the Highland Avenue railroad crossing improvement on the state plan.

The Commission approved the appointment of Public Works Director Heath Voneye to the Sioux Falls Solid Waste Planning Board.
