Light Geese in Good Numbers

The light geese, the Snows, the Blue and the Ross geese are at least trying to make there way north through the Madison area.
Lake County Conservation Officer Brandon Gust says they are here in good numbers this year. He says many of them will stop by Sand Lake National Wildlife Refuge.
Gust says he has seen a few hunters out trying to bag a few of them. Hunters have a daily limit of 20-geese for the conservation order.
Hunters can use electronic calls, shotguns capable of carrying more than three shells and can hunt from one-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset.
