Into The Wild Open in South Dakota

A movie with South Dakota ties is now in theatres in the state. Into the Wild, opened nationwide on September 21st, but can now be seen in theatres like the West Twin in Madison and the Century 14 in Sioux Falls. The story follows Christopher McCandless, a young man who spent time in Carthage South Dakota with Wayne Westerberg, a resident of Madison. Westerberg says it all started very simply.
Portions of the movie were filmed in Carthage. Westerberg says the movie is deep, even without all the bells and whistles.
Showings will be held at 7:15 tonight at the West Twin theatre in Madison and at the Century 14 at 3:45PM, 7PM, and 10:15PM
