Commission Meets

The Madison City Commission:

-acknowledged a letter from Federal Emergency Management regarding flood plain maps.

-acknowledged Executive Summary of the Water Utility Plan From Banner and Associates.

-authorized the Mayor to sign Change Order for the Automatic Weather Observation System at the Madison Airport, increasing the cost of that project by $80.19.

-approved plans and specifications for the 3rd Street - Airport Road Intersection Project and to set the bid letting date and time at 1:30 p.m.,March 31st.

-approved Resolution 27-12, the Lakeview Industrial Park Plat.

-met as the Board of Equalization but no petitions were presented.

City Finance Officer Jeff Heinemeyer says other than new construction there were no changes in property evaluations for taxes.
