Knowlton on Constituent Panel for Executive Search

Dakota State University President Doug Knowlton is among those appointed by the South Dakota Board of Regents to a constituent panel to assist the board in reviewing candidates for the position of regents executive director and chief executive officer.

The constituent panel is made up of faculty, students, administrators, regents staff, foundation and alumni, state legislators and others.

Knowlton says some of the interaction between the Regents and the panel is yet to be determined.

The board is working with Academic Search Consultation Service to identify and review candidates.

Officials say the search for a new executive director and chief executive officer is expected to be completed by early summer.
