Rounds Looks to Help Food Pantries

Governor Mike Rounds is checking to see whether there is a way to assist local food pantries.

Rounds says he will check with various state agencies to determine if there is a way state government can help.

The Governor is making the effort at the request Jeff Nelson, chairman of the Madison Food Pantry.

Rounds says he knows food pantries and other local charities are stressed with more people who need help and reduced contributions.
