Commission to Meet

The Madison City Commission Meets this afternoon at 5:30.

The Commission will hold a hearing as board of adjustment at 5:35 p.m. for the Heartland Consumer Power District proposal.

The Commission is expected to:

-acknowledge malt beverage license applications and set a hearing date.

-consider a resolution establishing commissioner duties for the year.

-consider a resolution for a restoration grant for the depot.

-consider specifications for playground equipment and set a bid letting date.

-consider Park Board appointments.

-authorize the mayor to sign a certificate of substantial completion for work on the wastewater treatment plant.

-consider authorization of the mayor to sign a lease on city property.

-acknowledge a time extension for Sunkota Construction for the Aquatic Center.
