Joint City-County Board of Equalization Discussed

The Lake County Commission and the Madison City Commission are working through their attorneys to form a joint city-county board of equalization.

The two Commissions met jointly Tuesday evening.

County Commissioner Chris Giles says such a board must also include the school district.

Giles says the board being discussed would only apply to the County, the City of Madison and the Madison Central School District.
