Regents being asked to rename DSU building

Eds: APNewsNow. SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota Board of Regents is being asked to rename the Technology Classroom Building at Dakota State University as the Jerald A. Tunheim Classroom Building.
A regents committee is scheduled to act on the request Thursday at a meeting in Vermillion.
Tunheim was Dakota State's president for 17 years, from 1987 to 2004.
Information from the regents staff says enrollment during his tenure rose from 958 when he arrived to 2,295 during the final term of his presidency.
Dakota State specializes in information technology education.
