City Commission Meets Today

Because of the Memorial Day Holiday, Mayor Gene Hexom announced last week that the meeting this week will be held Tuesday afternoon at 5:30.

There is a Board of Adjustment hearing for Craig and Val Manthey at 5:35 and a hearing on Malt Beverage License renewals also scheduled at 5:35.

The Commission will review bids for playground equipment and on the rock creek wall repair project.

The Commission will consider authorization of the Mayor to sign a partial certificate of substantial completion for the aquatic center.

Among other items the Commission will consider the appointment of Eldon "Red" Beukelman to the Planning Commission.

An executive session for contract negotiations is on the agenda at the end of the meeting.
