Aquatic Center Not to Open on May 30

The new Aquatic Center will not open on May 30th as earlier announced.

Aquatic Center Coordinator Carol Shaver says the pool is not yet ready for use and she is not able to complete safety training until they can get into the water.

Community Center Director Aaron Walter says while the Aquatic Center is not ready, the pool at the Community Center will be open for the times the Aquatic Center Pool would be open for the same admission charges.

City Engineer Chad Comes says they will know more about when the Aquatic Center will be ready to open by next week's City Commission meeting.
