City Commission Meets

The Madison City Commission acting as the Board of Adjustment denied the appeal from Craig and Val Manthey to build a double garage on their home because it would be too close to a neighboring property.

The Commission approved the malt beverage licenses up for renewal.

The Commission awarded a bid for playground equipment for Bachman-Belatti Park to Dakota Fence of Fargo for $53,567.

The Commission awarded a bid for work on the rock creek wall repair project for $26,556.

The Commission authorized the Mayor to sign a partial certificate of substantial completion for the bath house at the the aquatic center.

An ordinance was introduced to amend financing requirements to comply with state laws.

The Commission approved the appointment of Eldon "Red" Beukelman to the Planning commission.
