The Madison City Commission may amend the city ordinance dealing with alcohol consumption in public places.
The Commission discussed Section 4-6 of Madison City ordinances regulating the consumption of alcoholic beverages in public places and decided to bring their ideas to the meeting next week for City Attorney David Jencks to include in his drafting process.
The Commission directed Jencks to meet with the states attorney to work out details of a joint City-County Board of Equalization.
