Another Step Closer to a Shelter

A group is another step closer to re-establishing shelter and support for victims of domestic violence in Madison.

Marilyn Spurrell has served as vice-chair of the Domestic Violence Network Board.

She says the network can now start applying for grants and other fund raising.

Spurrell says the Network has obtained 501(c)(3) status with the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit.
