Zoning Rework Underway

Last January the Madison City Commission and the City Planning Commission set in motion a process to rework the Madison zoning ordinances. It's the first comprehensive work on Madison's zoning ordinances since 1996.

1st District Planning Executive Director Todd Kays says that since that beginning there have been meetings with the Planning Commission every three to five weeks.

Kays says the process is leading to development of a reworked ordinance to be approved in July or August.
