Daugaard Stepping Up His Campaign

South Dakota Lieutenant Governor Dennis Daugaard of Dell Rapids is stepping up his campaign efforts as he aims for the republican nomination for governor next year.

Daugaard says his seven years serving with Governor Mike Rounds have taught him a few things.

Daugaard will step down from his position as C.E.O. of Children's Home Society this summer to start full time campaigning.

He says he decided early on to be a loyal lieutenant.

He says he does have differing opinions and will talk about them at the right time.

Daugaard is one of four candidates now seeking the republican nomination.
