Colman Gets Extreme Energy Makeover

A Colman homeowner will receive an extreme Energy makeover from Heartland Consumer Power District.

Heartland is providing the energy makeover as part of its energy efficiency program, "Power Forward."

The communities Heartland serves in South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa were encouraged to apply for the makeover.

Fifteen of Heartland's customers applied and after the applications were reviewed, the heartland staff decided Colman was a good fit for the makeover.

Like most of Heartland's customer communities, Heartland says Colman has several homes with higher than average utility bills that would benefit from efficiency upgrades.

Residents of Colman who are interested in having the extreme energy makeover performed on their home will be required to apply and provide proof of home ownership.
