City Commission to Meet

The Madison City Commission meets tonight at 5:30.

The Commission is expected to acknowledge the building permit report totaling nearly $4,959,000 worth of projects.

The list includes a 2.4-million dollar project for Nextera Property LLC and 2.47-million dollars for the Heartland Consumer Power District office building.

Among the other agenda items is first reading consideration of an ordinance providing for permits for consumption of alcohol in public places in the City of Madison.

An executive session is scheduled at the end of the meeting to consult with the city attorney regarding legal matters.
