Petfest 2007 Raises Over $2000 for Almost Home Canine Rescue

Petfest 2007 put on my Almost Home Canine Rescue took place just over a month ago in Madison, and the results have been tabulated of how much the fundraiser brought in.

Joann Casanova , volunteer for Almost Home says the money raised will help with basic care needs for the animals and also help to spay and neuter them.

Casanova says Almost Home doesn’t just help animals in Lake Co or Madison, but rather sometimes as far away as Nebraska or Fargo.

Casanova says popularity-wise one event during Petfest 2007 was a front-runner.

Casanova says Almost Home Canine Rescue is always looking for families to adopt or foster pets.

This years event was the 2nd annual Almost Home Canine Rescue Fundraiser event. The organization plans on continuing the tradition in years to come.
