Prostrollo's to Lose Cadillac Franchise

The changes in the automobile industry could soon be noticed in Madison.

According to a prepared statement from Pat Prostrollo of Prostrollo Motor Company, the Madison dealership will retain the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep franchises as well as Chevrolet, Buick and GMC franchises with General Motors, but Cadillac will be sold only in Sioux Falls and Rapid City in South Dakota.

Prostrollo assures customers who have a Pontiac, which is no longer manufactured, or a Cadillac, that Prostrollo's will be able to continue to take care of their vehicle service needs.

Prostrollo Motors has been in business in Madison for 52 years and expects to continue to have 65 full-time and 21 part-time employees.

The company has a payroll of $3,356,000.

Prostrollo says Prostrollo Motors has been identified as a key dealership for both Chrysler and General Motors.
