Foundation Hires New Consultant

The Dakota State University Foundation has hired the firm of Paul J. Strawhecker, Inc. as consultants to the University's capital campaign.

Strawhecker, Inc. replaces Ron Mulder who retired from the consulting business earlier this year.

The new consulting firm specializes in providing fundraising assistance to nonprofit organizations.

Former and current clients are from education, healthcare and other public sectors.

In additional Foundation news the position of assistant development director held by Cindy Christensen has been eliminated due to budgetary constraints.

Darla Thompson, a university employee who worked with the foundation on scholarships, is also losing her position due to reorganization.
