MHS Grad Wins Scholarship

A Madison High School graduate has been named the winner of a $1000 scholarship from The South Dakota Association of Towns & Townships. Alexander Kotten, the son of Larry and Kathy Kotten, wrote an essay Investigating what the challenges are in today's local governments.

Alex and his parents will be invited guests to the Associations awards luncheon, December 5, 2009 in Brookings, SD. His paper will be presented in its entirety at this time.

The South Dakota Association of Towns & Townships annually awards a $1000 scholarship to a graduating South Dakota senior.
