Commission Meets

The Madison City Commission acknowledged the report of building permits for the month of July totaling $162789.

The Commission approved a request from the Nazerine Church for street closures for its block party August 22nd. The closure will run from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Block Party runs from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on that date.

The Commission scheduled a hearing August 25th on a proposed ordinance providing for reconnection fees for residential and commercial water service if it is disconnected for late payment.
