Miracle Treat Day

Today is Miracle Treat Day, the day when purchase of a Blizzard at Dairy Queen benefits children through the Children's Miracle Network.

But it occurred to Tom Heirigs of the Twin Lakes Animal Clinic that the children helped by the Network don't get to enjoy a Blizzard.

He says he decided to change that by giving Blizzards to the 220 children at South Dakota's Children's Hospital, the Sanford Children's Hospital in Sioux Falls.
