Commission Schedules Hearing on Flood Plain Ordinance

The Lake County Commission gave first reading approval to a new Flood Plain ordinance.

The new ordinance is required by the Federal Emergency Management Agency and is required in order for residents of flood plain areas to get flood insurance.

The Commission will hold the hearing on the ordinance on September 1st.
