Board of Adjustment Duties to Move

When the Madison City Commission meets next Monday, commissioners will hold a hearing and give final consideration to an ordinance making adjustments to the main city zoning ordinance.

Among the changes the ordinance would make is moving Board of Adjustment duties from the City Commission to the City Planning Commission.

City Engineer Chad Comes says there was a lot of discussion about that change.

The Commission gave first reading to the ordinance last week after the City Planning Commission gave its final approval.
