City Commission to Consider Several Items Involving New Pool

The Madison City Commission will consider several items regarding the new swimming pool for Madison. A second reading on the ordinance to issue the General Obligation bonds and amending the tax levy will be heard along with a review of financial advisory services proposal. Also to take place at the meeting is a review of the architectural service contract with Banner Engineering regarding the pool project.
Other issues to be addressed include the first reading on ordinances regarding electric rates, water rates, amending the speed limit on North 15th street as well as on Second Street.
The Madison City Commissioners meet beginning at 5:30 tonight at Madison City Hall.
