Operation Reunite the 211th Was A Success

Mmembers of the 211th Engineer Battalion Sapper are in Wisconsin, and will deploy to Afghanistan shortly. Approximately 20 are leaving soon and the remaining members will get a short visit home, thanks to area residents and businesses who stepped forward with enough donations to raise $4,770 needed to charter buses to bring them round trip from Ft. McCoy in Wisconsin to Madison and then back to Ft. McCoy.

Significant contributions came from Prostrollo's, Heartland, James River Equipment and Sioux Valley.

The locker is willing to provide jerkey for the 211th at a reduced cost to provide a bag for each member. Anyone can stop into the locker to donate the funds to provide the bags by Tuesday.
